Meet Dave
Dave’s story begins in Los Angeles, where cooking with his grandparents, Myer and Madeline Leven, helped shape his interest in food. His restaurant career later took him to Maui and Colorado.
Estes Park, 2007
The first Smokin’ Dave’s BBQ & Brew opened in Estes Park in 2007. That restaurant is still part of the story today, welcoming guests on Moraine Avenue.
From that beginning, Smokin’ Dave’s grew to five Colorado locations: Denver, Estes Park, Longmont, Lyons and Greeley.
